J'ai un rêve translates from french to english to mean I had a dream. In this dream, The mighty in society protected the less mighty, the less mighty supported the mighty and the two worked in unity to create a beautiful world despite the broken pasts.Tribes and countries, continents and races, all put their ugly animosities in the background. The focus was now on making the world a better place.      The cracked background is a wax effect that I used to represent the broken pasts.that were being shoved to the background,in this case, by the textures.     The pink in the motifs represent the mighty, and the blue represents the less mighty.They're working well together to make the design a beautiful one.  DESIGNER:MICHELLE MAURELLET  CONTACT: michellemaurellet@gmail.com 

  This piece of textile design is named beautiful mistake because it was as a result of a ruined planned design which turned out beautiful than the original plan would've looked. I used a light pink background colour with tiny white wax effects. My textures are the tilted hourglasses which were given two colours; red and a tint of green.They were arranged in a ful drop layout.  The motifs were circles in ranging sizes, embedded in one another. It's arrangement had the major beautiful mistake because the layout turned out to be unique, yet gave a beautiful effect. Four colours were used for these to add variety and sophistication to the design. The design gives me summer vibes.
